Sugar & Twine is an absolute gem in Richmond! The café has a warm, cozy atmosphere that's perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. The coffee was excellent—smooth, flavorful, and expertly made—and the pastries were fresh and delicious. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you're in the Carytown area, this is definitely a must-visit spot. I'll be back every time I'm in Richmond!

Sugar & Twine is a Carytown favorite for a reason. Inside, the decor is minimalist, clean, and beautifully botanical, creating a refreshing and bright atmosphere. I stopped by to grab some takeout for lunch and ordered the Fig & Goat Cheese sandwich. It was delicious—the perfect balance of savory goat cheese and sweet fig. Whether you're looking for a quick, high-quality bite to go or a lovely local spot to grab a pastry, this place is delightful. The energy here is wonderful and I'll definitely stop by again when I'm enjoying a day in Carytown.

Fantastic turkey BLT and one of the best dirty chai lattes I've ever had. Pretty reasonable prices and great serving size for the sandwich. Love that you can get food to-go from the takeout window separately from entering the restaurant itself!

Great food and coffee! The pastries are always fresh and delicious! The breakfast sandwiches are made fresh so don't be in a rush when ordering them, they are worth the wait! Make sure you're following the lines on the sidewalk when ordering and wait off to the side for your name or order to be called. You can sit down and sip inside next door if you're looking for a great coffee shop vibe!

So cute and very delicious! Just wish they had a bit more seating! The ginger turmeric latte is delicious. The fig and goat cheese sandwich is a must-try staple. Egg sandwich with cheese and veggies on a biscuit is good.
